Note:

Be sure and remove them before stepping onto the ice, otherwise you will fall spectacularly! Place them on the outer ledge near the ice door while you're skating. Retrieve them when you step off the ice, but be sure and wipe the snow from your blades before you put the guards on. Also, use a toothbrush to clean them out from time to time, otherwise the collected dust and debris will dull your blades. when you take them off, never store them in hard guards.
