The whips’ spring lines keep the boat from moving too far out of position and are designed for saltwater use and larger tidal areas. Each whip rod incorporates a low friction tip and whip cleat for easy retrieval for boarding. The fiberglass poles, aluminum-magnesium base units, tips and mooring whip lines are sold in pairs and come with installation hardware. Our premium mooring whips have a unique rocker base that return the whip poles to the vertical position when unused and a 1” diameter fiberglass pole. These whips are perfect for sailboats and larger, heavier or high-profile boats.
