The 518 HWS delivers all the advantages of our popular 512 and EXPS models, respectively, in one tough unit. With long run life using easy-to-find AA batteries, the quick-detach lever and side control functionality allow for mounting our G33 Magnifier behind the sight.

Performance Characteristics

For quick adjustability in any shooting situation, the 518 HWS offers multiple brightness settings in standard operating mode.

Mountable to a 1" Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 rail.

Powered by two 1.5 V AA batteries and supports lithium, alkaline, or rechargeable batteries. Lithium battery life: 2,500 continuous hours at nominal setting 12 at room temperature. Alkaline: 2,200 continuous hours at nominal setting 12 at room temperature.

Even when partially shattered, even when the sight window is obscured by snow or mud, HWS will still function and deliver pinpoint precision. One of the many reasons they’re trusted by America’s elite in the most extreme, hostile environments in the world.

PRECISION AT ANY RANGE

Our holographic ring and dot do not expand with magnification. Pinpoint precision is the best result when the target is magnified but the point of aim is not.
