The real story here is the fact that we haven’t traded off optics for looks. We placed all LEDs in the optimum position for their purpose: a high beam central LED to see by, a pair of elliptical beam LEDs for broad ambient light, a soft red ‘Do Not Disturb’ LED, and reading downlights for... well, reading. We wanted to introduce elevated optics options for reading, running, finding the toilet without waking up your better half, concentrated light, wide light – you get it.
