The Astro Insulated Sleeping Pad furthers NEMO's commitment to fearless adventure and the pursuit of uncharted paths. With Primaloft insulation, the insulated models are temperature rated to 20 degrees lower than the standard models. The Astro is lofty, warm, and comfy for a superior night's sleep, yet lightweight and packable so you can shoot for the stars.
Ultra-lightweight and simple, the Astro series offers a plush 3.5-inch thickness, a premium fabric suite, and lateral baffles. Lateral baffles are more comfortable than vertical baffles, and prevent the sides of the pad from curling around your body. The large Pillow Baffle at the head end of the pad ensures that your pillow doesn’t slide off in the middle of the night, and gives a couple extra inches of height to bolster your camp pillow. The Laylow zero-profile, multi-functional, micro-adjustable valve offers convenient inflation, personalized comfort, and deflation.
Lateral Baffles
The Astro offers 3.5 inches of plush, comfortable loft for stellar sleep in the backcountry. Lateral baffles provide a stable sleeping surface and prevent the sides from curling around the body.
Pillow Support
A raised Pillow Baffle keeps your pillow in place and adds extra loft at the head of the pad.
Laylow Zero-Profile Valve
Laylow zero-profile, multi-functional, micro-adjustable valve is flush to the pad and offers customized control over your inflation. Once the pad is inflated, carefully tap the deflate valve to adjust the Astro to your desired firmness.
Lightweight & Packable
With it's small packed weight and size, the Astro let's you shoot for the stars on your next adventure. The Non-insulated, Regular size has a minimum weight of only 1 lb, 3 oz. The Insulated models feature Primaloft synthetic insulation, rated to 15 - 25 F, with the regular size weighing a minimum of 1 lb, 8 oz.
