The light and low-profile Rottefella NNN BC Manual binding is intended for off-trail use but is also frequently used by skiers who want added control with narrower in-trail metal-edged skis. Rottefella's Back Country bindings are especially designed to perform in difficult conditions, where durability and control count the most. Eric G Messler a Swedish Sargent in Arctic warfare developed a passion for Nordic skiing that would later become the inspiration to create Erik Sports in 1973 as a North American distributor for Nordic equipment. In 1993 Eric Messler’s son Michael, takes the reins of Erik Sports. In 1998 Erik Sports celebrates its 25 years in business. In 2006 Whitewoods brand is officially trademarked by Erik Sports. In 2007 Needing room to expand, the company moves its headquarters and warehouse to the farmlands of Andover NJ. In 2013 Erik Sports celebrates its 40th Anniversary.

- COMPATIBILITY - The Rottefella NNN-BC Auto fits all Rottefella NNN-BC soles but DOES NOT accept NNN Touring soles so look for the NNN-BC logo on your boot soles if you are uncertain
